The Tick Driving School Test Day Package provides professional support, a pre-test driving session, and access to a fully equipped driving school vehicle to help you feel confident and prepared.

60-Minute Pre-Test Lesson
A focused warm-up session before your driving test to help you relax, improve confidence, and familiarise yourself with the testing area.
Professional Driving Instructor
An experienced and qualified instructor will support and guide you before and after your test.
Driving School Car for the Test
Complete your test in a modern dual-control vehicle that you are comfortable and familiar with.
Pick-Up & Return Service
We can pick you up before your test and drop you off afterwards within your instructor’s local service area.
Extra travel charges may apply for locations outside this area.
Full Test Day Assistance
Your instructor will stay with you until your test begins and provide feedback and guidance once the test is completed.
Tax Invoice & Booking Confirmation
All booking details and invoices will be emailed directly to you.

Please Note:
- The Queensland Transport driving test fee is separate and not included in this package
- Students must arrive at the TMR test centre at least 20 minutes before the scheduled test time
- A written declaration form must be completed before the test starts
Test Day Requirements
Before attending your test, please ensure you:
- Wear safe and secure footwear (no thongs or unsafe shoes)
- Bring your driver licence
- Have your driving test booking reference number with you
Important Information for Drivers Under 25
If you are under 25 years old, you must:
- Complete 100 hours of supervised driving in your logbook
- Successfully pass the Hazard Perception Test (HPT) before booking your driving test
- Have your logbook approved by Transport & Main Roads before your test date
Please allow up to 14 business days for logbook approval.
You cannot take your driving test until approval has been completed.
Get the Best Results from Your Package
For maximum benefit, we recommend meeting your instructor directly at the test centre.
This allows the full 60-minute lesson to focus on local roads, test routes, and driving conditions in the testing area.
Please advise our admin team if you would like this option when making your booking.
Can My Instructor Sit in During the Test?
Yes, however:
- Approval must be granted by Transport & Main Roads (TMR)
- The request must be organised by the student before the test day.
